Try this:
https://secure.teesoft.info/autopager/autopager_0.5.2.2.xpi
I review the code and remove some questionable code. |
Wow, that's some seriously fast support! It definitely seems to be better in my tests with a fresh profile. I'll let it run for a while and see if it remains stable.
Thanks!

It's looking good so far! CPU usage was still down at 1% for Firefox this morning.
Thanks,
Rob

When autosearch is on. you cannot print for example "w" to take all page. Can you disable autosearch, when adding XPath on page(i have russian version of firefox and it sounds like Preferences -> additional(last tab with picture)->text box search text ......)
Or it cannot be done? Thanks

I suggest you make a list of users submitting new rules, sorted by the number of submissions. Let's say in the Paging Rules section. That's going to make a competitive spirit that will make people submit more

Lately, I've found that AutoPager isn't working very well on the forums that I frequent. I'm not sure if it's the recent upgrade to Firefox 3.5.1, or something else, but AutoPager seems to "break" the back button functionality much of the time. In a seemingly unpredictable manner, Firefox will get into a state where the back button simply doesn't do anything and I have to pull down the "history arrow" to go back a few pages. It happens only when AutoPager is enabled, and happens with equal frequency on my WinXP machine and my Mac.
It used to work flawlessly on the same forums, so something has definitely happened recently to cause this. Here's an example of a site where I see this happen: http://www.dbstalk.com/.
Thanks for any help,
Rob

This is designed behavior.
You can use the back drop down to back one more item to back to your previous page or turn off "Tweak session" in option to get the behavior you want.

About the AP rules page on http://teesoft.info/aprules/list/lang,en/ , there's one url pattern that's so long it's stretching the table. Perhaps the table should be reformatted so that a rule as long as this one can be on multiple lines.
The rule is for perfectlytimedphotos.com

I have some pointers about the looks: the green arrows in some sites are distracting or out of place, and the same goes for the grey bar, I suggest you put some alternative predefined styles for different sites including colorless.
The most annoying popup "do you want to enable autopager for this site". Its so annoying, A bubble from the status icon would be a much better option, something similar when you highlight a download in the download status bar.
Another is the dark green background "Loading ...", it feel like it is a part from the actual site, I prefer somewhat similar to what I suggested for the popup.
Thank you and keep up the good work.

I suggest a keyboard shortcut for the green down arrow, PageDown. Maybe "n" because Google reader uses "n" for next rss feed.
Thanks!

Well, I don't know if this is easy to implement or not, but here goes:
For some sites (especially ones that serve images), Autopager works extremely slow, or breaks the layout, impacting usability. It would be nice if there was a 'preload only' mode, where autopager would merely put the next page (or 2, or more pages) into cache so that it appears instantly after following the 'next' link, rather than appending it to the bottom of the page.
Like I said, I'm no programmer, so I have no idea how much work this would take, or if it's even possible, so bear with me here
And thanks for an awesome extension btw

| A new version of the googleenhancer addon is out, and its features are now being shown on ajaxed google. However, they don't show up on the pages automatically loaded by AP and APLite. Can this be corrected?

Hello,
First, thanks for this great addon.
A suggestion :
As Autopager can find easily the xpath of a table, would it be possible to extract part of the data contained in a webpage (thanks to a xpath url). Then, everyday send the new results by email to myself ?
Example:
www.example.com
xpath:
//div[@id='leftnavDiv']/table/tbody/tr/th
html data table (sent by email) :
country / city / code
usa / ny / 455524
spain / madrid / 12875
...
Thanks in advance
