v0.6.1 at  2008-06-24

TeeDict (called jStarDict before) 0.6.1 released. This include following changes:
1. Add a welcome page if no dict installed to tell user what to do to add a dict.
2. Allow install dict online
3. Fix some bugs
4. Installer for desktop version
5.Rename to TeeDict

There are two ways to run jStarDict from desktop.
 The first one is download the jStarDict desktop version and run jStarDict.exe ( for windows) or jStarDict.sh (for linux). 
Another way is to run it through java web start the url is  http://www.teesoft.info/teedict/teedict.jnlp .
You will need java 1.5 or later for both case. Please download it here http://www.java.com   . Both Java SE runtime or SDK are OK.
 
After you get jStarDict running, please click the dict manager then click Add to add dict to use. After click add a file chooser willbe showed just click the files you want to use. If the file is supported a dialog will open to let you choose whether to copy the files to the dict folder. If you file is not compressed then you can also work with it whthout copying it.
 
Please also refer to the support formats .  
You can also manaully copy the files to the dict folder to use.
For windows users, the folder is:
<System root>\Documents and Settings\<User name>\Application Data\TeeDict\dict .
For other system, the folder is ~/.teedict/dict.
