jStarDict Road Map: Short term: 1. dictd protocol support 2. More dicts support such as some dicts provide by other mobile dict apps like xdict,langdao. 3. Improve the UI 4 Support input more special chars in different catalog 5. Improve the support for kdic especially the encoding support for the phone which does support the encoding used in the dict. For example A1200 jvm doesn't GB2312, but some kdic dicts are use GB2312.
Long term: 1. Support download dicts from network derectly. 2. Support transfer dict through BlueTooth. 3. Introduce an own dict format, which will support seperate: synonym,antonym, phonetic symbol, sound, pictures in explain.It will support DRM protected dicts.
